Because the Anne stories take place on Prince Edward Island in Canada, I decided this is my tribute to Canada, to the Winter Olympics that have kept me glued to the TV, and to my lovely Canadian followers! Someday I'm going to visit P.E.I. and the other lovely places in Canada!
I decided to make this a birthday card, partly because I love the old-fashioned look of the sentiment stamp I chose. I stamped it directly onto the printed paper because I love this paper and didn't want to cover it up.

Oh, and speaking of Easter, Magnolia is releasing the new Hoppy Easter Collection, available for pre-order at 7 Kids! You've got to see these--they are adorable--I definitely need them!
I had a lot of fun making this card and basket, and I think I'll be making more of these baskets!

I found this fantastic tutorial by Norma on how to use border punches around ovals and circles, and just had to give it a try!
I got my Tim Holtz Distress Ink Re-Inkers, and used them for the first time to watercolor this Tilda. I need to make myself a color chart, because I'm not familiar with the colors.

Ingredients:
- Image: Loving Tilda from the Magnolia Love Collection; SU sentiment
- Inks: Versafine Onyx Black, Tim Holtz Distress Inks
- Papers: Crafty Secrets, SU card stock, Arches watercolor
- Embellishments: Zva roses, Prima roses, Zva pearls, Star Dust Stickles, Pop It Shapes, SEI ribbon, rose and heart buttons from my button box, pearls from my friend Mindy
- Tools: Sizzix Big Shot, Spellbinders Oval Nestabilities, Spellbinders Tag Shapeabilities, cuttlebug rose embossing folder, Martha Stewart heart edge punch and leaf punch
In the Loves Me Tilda card ingredients, an EK butterfly punch is stated as used; please supply that item number as the only one I can find so far is solid not cut out like the one used in this adorable card. I'd like to purchase this punch. All the cards in this posting are outstanding!
Thanks for sharing.
