I don’t believe there is anything more sparkly than Ritz Glitter. I love the smooth feel and intense sparkle this stuff has!! I’ve been wanting to put together a tutorial for a while for this, so what better time than now!
I get my Ritz Glitter at 7 Kids College Fund. They carry almost 50 different colors. They also have a great selection of Magnolias! They also carry this awesome new Christmas Basic Grey paper – Jovial. I love it!!
The layout I used for my card is the Mojo Monday sketch #157. The sparkle on my card can be seen in the Grasshopper Ritz Glitter on the leaves, the stickles on Tilda’s flowers, the gold half pearls, and the blue Copic Spica glitter accents.
RITZ GLITTER LEAVES TUTORIAL
Supplies
Ritz Glitter (Tons of gorgeous colors to choose from)
Punch
Cardstock (can use scraps for this!)
Step 1: Use a piece of cardstock similar in color to the glitter you are using
Step 2: Place enough tape needed for the punch you are using.
Step 3: Hold the punch upside down so you can be sure to only punch where there is tape.
Step 4: All the punched leaves with the tape backing still on.
Step 5:Peel the backing from the tape.
Step 6:Place sticky (tape) side down into a pile of glitter and tap down to make sure it sticks all over. (I make sure to put this on a clean sheet of paper so I can easily dump the remaining glitter back in the jar when I am done)
Step 7: With the glitter side up, burnish the glitter into the tape (rub it in with your finger) You won’t rub the glitter off, and you’ll be surprised at just how smooth it is!
Use your new glittering sparkly leaves on your project!

Hi everyone! I hope your weekend was a good one :) I got a lot of crafting done, which I'm very happy about because it's been a while since I've been able to just create for no reason than just pure fun.
I used one of my newest Magnolia Stamps today called Tilda with Lace Flag. She just looks so sweet marching around with her flag! All the papers used on this card came from the BasicGrey Pyrus 6x6 Paper Pad, which is one of the newest releases from BasicGrey.
I've really been into creating panels lately and layering different-shaped Nestabilities. This time, for the two panels in the back, I've layered the Nestabilities Labels 1 on top of the Large Classic Scalloped Squares. I blinged out with flowers with some Stickles to give them a little pizazz and added some texture to the circle using the Bloom Dots A2 Embossing Folder.
As you can see, a lot of the supplies I used are available at the 7 Kids Store so make sure to hop on over to the store to pick up a few goodies!
Remember, we still have a challenge going on at the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog! The current challenge ends on Tuesday night, so make sure to get your entries in.

Hi all! Thanks for stopping by. I used Gavin the Givin’ Dragon for my manly card today. All patterned paper is from Basic Grey’s Olive 6X6 paper pad including the paper pieced gifts. I love what a little paper piecing can do for your image. I thread some ribbon to add some texture and used Fiskars Apron and Lace border punch behind my image which I colored with Copics.
This week High Hopes is celebrating it’s challenge blog’s birthday. To celebrate there will be three winners this week. The first wins ten stamps of their choice and the second and third winners, five of their choice. How could I resist taking a shot at winning my favorite stamps?!? The challenge is the sketch above. Hope you like it and wish me luck!
My family has been sick but is finally coming around. I’ll be back tomorrow with a Halloween Cricut card. I hate being away so long. I’ve missed you!
BTW, I change up my format from time to time when my card is going to be featured on 7 Kids Blog. I always wonder if it throws you off when I do so. Hope it makes more sense now. I added the supplies list on the bottom (even though it is stated above) which is the regular format.
